Philosophy: "Understanding People before Numbers"
The
foundation of Coddington’s business philosophy is that
outstanding financial and business results will only ever be
achieved in the 21st Century through insight into people and
understanding human behavior. Measuring the impact of people
dynamics in every business and financial transaction is a critical
component of our approach. Great relationships between people are
foundational to the unlocking of potential in all business and
financial transactions.
The
Drivers for Change
Based
on research, our observations and experience, a change in business
approach is required, for the following reasons:
1.
The
people dynamics in organizations and families are a significant
barrier to achieving committed decisions.
2.
Results
come through understanding people.
3.
Trusted
business or family relationships can only come through
"knowing me knowing you" and without a process, this can
take many years.
4.
Your
decision-making for yourself and perceptions of others will be
incorrect if your objectivity is clouded by "blind
spots".
5.
Business
and personal decisions are often made without sufficient knowledge
of the qualitative factors
